Kalki 2898 AD, the high-budget sci-fi drama featuring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, is unstoppable. Nag Ashwin directed the film, which was released on June 27 and shattered multiple box office records in its first week. Meanwhile, the makers held a press meet today with director Nag Ashwin.
During the media interaction, Nag Ashwin responded to the mixed response to Kalki 2898 AD’s music. He said, “Some parts of the music are extraordinary. In some parts, it can be better. The balance is not precise.” It is commendable that director Nag Ashwin openly acknowledged the flaws of the film.
The pan-Indian movie also features an ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, Saswata Chatterjee, Pasupathy, Mrunal Thakur, Brahmanandam, Shobana, Anna Ben, and Harshith Malgireddy. The film was produced by the Vyjayanthi Movies banner, and the soundtrack was composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
