Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming straight Telugu film, Lucky Baskhar, is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on October 31. Given Dulquer’s popularity across the country, Lucky Baskhar will have a huge pan-Indian release, including the Hindi circuits.
Interestingly, Lucky Baskhar’s producer S Naga Vamsi recently revealed that while the film’s Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions will be simultaneously released on October 31, the film’s Hindi version will be hitting theaters a week later, i.e., in the first week of November. The strategy behind this delayed release is due to the release of the highly anticipated Bollywood cop entertainer, Singham Again, which is hitting screens on November 1. Needless to say, a delayed release will ensure a decent release for Lucky Baskhar’s Hindi version.
Happening young actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is the leading lady in Lucky Baskhar. The film is directed by Venky Atluri and produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners. Srikara Studios banner is presenting the film. Star Kollywood composer GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music.
