Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is hitting the big screens today. The movie, directed by Rajkumar Hirani is based on the illegal immigration concept. Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, and Animal are the biggest grossers of Bollywood this year but the thing one needs to observe here is they all are action films.
Dunki is a social comedy film, and hence, it is very essential that the film needs to have a solid word of mouth to make a big impact at the box office. As per the trade estimates, Dunki is expected to collect over 30 crores nett on the opening day in India, and the number can go higher depending on early reviews and word of mouth.
From overseas, the movie is expected to collect 3 million dollars on the first day. Taapsee Pannu played the female lead. Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and others played vital roles.
