Kollywood star actor Dhanush’s direct Telugu movie Sir, which was released last Friday, is doing excellent business everywhere. Released in Tamil as Vaathi, the bilingual social drama has Malayalam beauty Samyuktha as the lead actress.
The latest info is that the movie has collected Rs. 16.54 crores gross in its first weekend. This is massive for any Dhanush movie released to date in Telugu. Besides, the film has attained the breakeven in all areas in AP and TS and entered into the profit zone. The real test for the film begins today, and we need to see how the film will perform at the box office.
The flick also has Samuthirakani, Tanikella Bharani, Sai Kumar, Narra Srinivas, and Hyper Aadhi in prominent roles. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas jointly produced this movie, which has GV Prakash Kumar as the music director.
