Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda’s past few movies didn’t do well at the box office. The actor is determined to bounce back with a bang with his upcoming action drama, tentatively titled VD12. Also starring Mr. Bachchan girl Bhagyashri Borse, the film is being directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
VD12’s shoot recently took place in several picturesque locales in Kerala for over a month. The movie’s unit canned a major action sequence and crucial scenes in the just concluded schedule. Yesterday, after wrapping up VD12’s Kerala schedule, Vijay Deverakonda met with a large group of his fans from Kerala. Vijay cut a cake, clicked selfies with his fans, and addressed them in a heartfelt speech.
“VD12 is very special to me. It has given me so many beautiful memories. We filmed some breathtaking action sequences in Kerala. Dear Rowdies, we are working quite hard to offer you all the best theatrical experience,” Vijay told his fans amid a loud cheer. Needless to say, VD fans who have been patiently waiting for their favorite hero’s comeback are highly thrilled with his assurance on VD12.
VD12 will feature a soundtrack composed by star music director Anirudh Ravichander. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas banners, respectively, the film is slated for release on March 28, 2025.
