Sandalwood star hero Kichcha Sudeep has now come up with the action drama Max. Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, the film hit the theatres yesterday on the occasion of Christmas. The positive word of mouth and the actor’s stardom helped the film achieve a staggering opening.
According to the makers, Max collected about Rs. 12 crores gross in Karnataka on its opening day. The film registered housefuls in 823 shows across this territory, and due to high demand, extra shows were added in a few locations. Max is set to have a solid weekend riding on the favorable response from the audience.
The Telugu version will be released tomorrow with Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP handling the distribution. Max features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, and others in key roles. Produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under the banner of V Creations, the film’s music was provided by Ajaneesh Loknath.
