Flipkart, one of India’s most trusted e-commerce giants, is gearing up to make a significant move into the entertainment industry. After a brief foray into the OTT space in 2019 with Flipkart Video – an aggregation platform that featured content from services like Vu and Voot – the venture was discontinued due to limited response.
However, the company is now preparing for a full-scale re-entry into the OTT market. Tollywood producer Sahu Garapati recently revealed this exciting development in an interview. As per him, Flipkart is planning to come back stronger into the OTT game in 2025.
