Following Mohanlal & Salman Khan, Suriya to join the box office battle with Pawan Kalyan?

It appears that Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be facing intense competition at the box office, with multiple big films from other industries lined up for release during the last week of March. Salman Khan’s Sikandar is arriving for Eid 2025, and AR Murugadoss is directing the film. Salman is looking to score a mighty comeback with Sikandar after a series of disappointments.

Mollywood’s biggest film, L2E (Sequel of Lucifer), headlined by Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is arriving on March 27, a day before Pawan’s film. While these two films pose a huge threat to Pawan Kalyan’s period action drama, Suriya44 is now likely to join this box office battle.

This biggie is fronted by Suriya, and Karthik Subbaraj is its director. Suriya44 is a love story with action elements, and the film has massive hype in Tamil Nadu. The buzz has it that Suriya44 makers are also planning to release the film on March 28. If the news turns out to be true, it places Hari Hara Veera Mallu in a three-way clash.

If Suriya44 too releases on March 28, Pawan Kalyan’s film will then have to share screens with these three biggies in metro cities. Last time, Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak had a clash with Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and Ajith’s Valimai. But Bheemla Nayak was a regional film, and hence, the clash didn’t have much impact.

The makers of Hari Hara Veera Mallu are planning a massive release in other languages, too, and hence, this box office battle is now exciting. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is also special since it marks Powerstar’s debut PAN Indian movie. Let’s see what happens.
