As the fever of the AP general elections and the ongoing IPL cricket season grips the audiences, a few Telugu movies hit the cinemas last Friday. Satyadev’s Krishnamma and Nara Rohit’s Prathinidhi 2 generated moderate buzz compared to others.
However, both films failed to garner significant success at the box office, and with the upcoming polls on Monday, they face a looming threat. The remaining releases, such as Aarambham and Satya, also experienced low buzz and had limited screenings across AP and TS.
These films received little attention from audiences, leaving them unnoticed at the ticket windows. It remains to be seen how Tollywood will bounce back with post-election releases.
