Megapower Star Ram Charan is the first Telugu hero to associate with maverick director Shankar. The duo joined hands for the political action drama Game Changer. Kiara Advani is paired opposite Charan. Recently, the film’s producer, Dil Raju, said the movie will be released in September 2024.
Dil Raju also said the exact release date will be announced as soon as the shoot is completed. The latest buzz on social media is that Game Changer’s release date will be revealed very soon. If this turns out to be true, it will be a great relief for Charan fans who have been waiting for an update for a long time.1
The movie started long ago and should have also wrapped up long back. The shoot of Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 was halted due to lockdown. Also, the production house wasn’t allocating sufficient budget, and there were continuous delays. Meanwhile, Shankar announced Game Changer with Charan.
The makers of the Kamal starrer filed a legal suit against Shankar, stating that he can’t direct other movies without completing Indian 2. The court denied the request of Indian 2 makers, and later, the issue was sorted out amicably, with Shankar deciding to direct Indian 2 and Game Changer simultaneously. Due to this, Charan’s film was delayed significantly.
