Young Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light created history by winning the Grand Prix at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in May this year. The film had its theatrical release in December and had a modest run until Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule took over the multiplex chains across the country.
As per the latest updates, All We Imagine As Light is all set to make its digital premiere on January 3, 2025, on the popular OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar. The film, which features Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and Chhaya Kadam in lead roles, was distributed by Tollywood actor-filmmaker Rana Daggubati.
Recently, All We Imagine As Light made the country proud by securing the Best Director and Best Motion Picture (Non-English Language) nominations at the coveted Golden Globes, which will be held on January 6, 2025. The slice-of-life drama also made the headlines when former US President Barack Obama listed it as one of his favorite films of 2024.
