Despite mixed talk, Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram is holding well at the box office. The movie, directed by Trivikram, is a family drama laced with action elements. Sreeleela played the female lead. Guntur Kaaram collected about 127 crores gross in two days, as per the makers.
In the USA, the film crossed the 2 million mark and become the fifth movie of Mahesh to achieve this feat after Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu, Maharshi, and Sarkaru Vaari Paata. After Prabhas, Mahesh Babu has the most 2 million dollar films at the USA box office among the Tollywood heroes.
Guntur Kaaram also stars Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna, Rao Ramesh, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, Meenakshii Chaudhary, Rahul Ravindran, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. Produced by Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika and Hassine Creations, the film has its tunes rendered by SS Thaman.
