Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for Guntur Kaaram. The movie marks the third collaboration of Mahesh and Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja. Initially, Pooja Hegde was roped in as the main heroine, with Sreeleela being the second female lead. For a long time, there has been news that Pooja Hegde has been replaced with Sreeleela in the movie.
A few reports indicated Khiladi and HIT 2 fame Meenakshi Chaudhary had been roped in for the second heroine role. Today, during the pre-release event of Vijay Antony’s Hatya, Meenakshi confirmed her presence in the movie. She stated she is grateful to be part of Superstar’s movie.
Meenakshi said that the team recently wrapped up the first schedule. She further revealed that her first shot was with Mahesh Babu. The actress has indeed bagged a huge offer. Bankrolled by Haarika and Hassine Creations, Thaman is composing the tunes.
