Released as an underdog amid three other big budget movies during the Sankranthi festive season, Tollywood’s first-ever modern-day superhero film, Hanu-Man, went on to become a massive blockbuster. Especially, the Prasanth Varma directorial is performing exceptionally well in the Nizam region, where it is all set to script history today.
In its 14-day theatrical run so far, Hanu-Man has collected a whopping Rs 25.01 crore share (excl GST) at the ticket counters across the Nizam region. The film’s 2-week total Nizam gross is Rs 48.62 crore. By the end of Friday, Hanu-Man will be entering the Rs 50 crore club in the Nizam region, which is an unprecedented feat by any Telugu film of this budget and scale. The film has registered over 25.28 lakh footfalls from a total of 9,027 shows in Nizam.
Worldwide, Hanu-Man has collected a staggering Rs 121 crore share from a gross of Rs 225 crore. Starring Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles, Hanu-Man is produced by Niranjan Reddy.
