Released as an underdog amid an unprecedented support, Telugu cinema’s first-ever modern-day superhero flick, Hanu-Man, is pulling off a massive sensation across the globe. The film has not only braved the Guntur Kaaram storm, but is also trending better than the Mahesh Babu-starrer in several locations across the USA.
As per the latest trade updates, until 11 PM EST, Hanu-Man has amassed a whopping half-a-million dollar gross of about $500K. On the other hand, Guntur Kaaram has grossed $374K till 11 PM EST on day 1. What’s even more impressive is that Hanu-Man is overpowering Guntur Kaaram with far lesser screens. Trade analysts predict that Hanu-Man will reach its overseas break even mark of $1M by the end of its day 1with the North America gross itself.
Hanu-Man has been getting a humongous positive response ever since the makers went for the paid premieres on the evening of 11th January.
