Director Sailesh Kolanu is currently giving finishing touches to his upcoming movie, HIT: The Third Case. The Nani and Srinidhi Shetty-starrer is scheduled for release on May 1, 2025, as a summer holiday treat. For the past couple of days, there has been a buzz that a popular Kollywood star will be seen in a special cameo in HIT 3, followed by a full-fledged role in HIT 4.
This leakage of crucial details about the film’s cast has deeply upset Sailesh Kolanu. The director took to X on Thursday evening and penned a heartfelt note targeting a section of media personnel for allegedly leaking crucial information about movies. Sailesh said that a huge team works relentlessly for days and nights to create an impact in the auditorium.
“It’s sad to see the plight of the media scenario today, some of whom don’t think even for a second before leaking details about the kind of moments that are meant to be enjoyed while watching the movie in the theatres only,” Sailesh posted. The director went on to question the values and ethics of journalists and media houses to assess if it’s “right or wrong to report the findings.” “This kind of reporting is not just stealing a film crew’s hard work, it’s equivalent to stealing directly from the audience,” he concluded.
