Popular actress Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged to Naga Chaitanya in an intimate ceremony on August 9. In a recent interview with a popular Kollywood media house, Sobhita opened up about her engagement, wedding, and her wish to experience motherhood.

Sobhita said she felt like the engagement didn’t need any embellishments. “The engagement was what it’s meant to be. I don’t think I went into the moment with a lot of expectations or dreams, planning. It was quite relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate, and warm. It was everything I thought it would be. When beautiful things happen, I don’t feel the need for embellishments. That moment itself fills me. So I didn’t feel like it was simple or it was not; it was what it was meant to be, and it was perfect,” said Sobhita.

The young actress went on to talk about her long-cherished wish to experience motherhood. “I always wanted the motherhood experience. I was very clear about it, and getting married. I always saw myself in that setting. I always wanted Telugu-ness to be a part of moments like this. I am very attached to my roots, to tradition, and to my parents. That’s something I fantasised about,” she added.

Chay and Sobhita are expected to tie the knot with each other in 2025 in a destination wedding. However, the date on which the lovebirds will be tying the knot has not been revealed yet by their families.
