During his film Baby’s success meet last week, director Sai Rajesh had said a popular young hero had refused to even meet him for a story narration when he tried to offer him an important role in Baby. Within a few hours, young hero Vishwak Sen took to Twitter and tweeted, “No means no applies to men as well, so let’s keep it cool and refrain from shouting. We’re all about that peaceful vibe here, so let’s just relax (sic).” Needless to say, netizens began connecting the dots between Vishwak Sen and Sai Rajesh’s statements.
Today, at the teaser launch event of the upcoming film, Pekamedalu, Vishwak Sen took a sly dig at Baby’s director Sai Rajesh. “Sometimes, we say ‘NO’ to someone when we’re either busy or we’re sure about not doing a particular movie or character so that we don’t waste their time. But certain people feel bad for our decisions, and I cannot do anything about it because I’m not a biryani to make everyone happy,” Vishwak said.
The young hero went on to say that he was very happy about Baby’s success and that he was the first person in the Directors’ WhatsApp group to appreciate the movie. “We can feel proud when our movie becomes a success, but we should not belittle anyone while enjoying our movie’s success,” Vishwak concluded.
