It is none other than King Nagarjuna. During the promotions of his upcoming film Custody, Venkat Prabhu stated that he initially wrote the script of Mankatha, keeping in mind Ajith and Nagarjuna. Venkat Prabhu revealed that he met Nagarjuna and narrated the story as well.
“Nagarjuna sir was satisfied with it, but due to dates issue, he couldn’t do the film,” said Venkat Prabhu. The director stated that Nagarjuna should have played the role done by Arjun. He added that the role was initially designed according to Nagarjuna’s mass image. “I further modified that role in a way that suits Arjun sir,” concluded Venkat Prabhu.
