Romantic drama Baby featuring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin emerged as a massive blockbuster at the ticket windows by raking in nearly Rs. 100 crores. This bold film is directed by Sai Rajesh, and he is now ready to remake this Telugu mega-hit in Bollywood.
The Hindi remake will be produced by SKN who also bankrolled the original. He will be collaborating with a Hindi producer for this project. There has been a lot of talk going on about the film’s cast. From the beginning, the makers were keen on casting star kids. According to the latest media reports, the team is considering Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan, for the Hindi adaptation.
Babil Khan will reportedly play the role that was essayed by Anand Devarakonda. It is said that the casting for the leading lady is underway. Tollywood sensation Krithi Shetty is said to be in talks for the same, but nothing has been confirmed. The makers registered the title “Cult Bomma” for the Hindi version.
