Siddu Jonnalagadda, Shraddha Srinath, Seerat Kapoor, and Shalini Vadnikatti’s romantic comedy, Krishna and His Leela, skipped its theatrical release and had a direct digital release on Netflix in June 2020 during the Covid pandemic. Interestingly, Krishna and His Leela has now been renamed as It’s Complicated, and it is gearing up for a re-release in cinemas on February 14 as a Valentine’s Day treat.
As part of the promotions, It’s Complicated’s hero Siddu Jonnalagadda, producer Rana Daggubati, and director Ravikanth Perepu interacted with the media. During the media interaction, Rana revealed an interesting condition laid by Siddu Jonnalagadda. “I wanted to produce another movie with Siddu Jonnalagadda. But he asked me to re-release Krishna and His Leela to accept the next project,” the Daggubati hero revealed. Rana went on to say that this is not a re-release, as It’s Complicated will be having its maiden theatrical release.
Speaking at the event, Siddu Jonnalagadda said that he is eagerly waiting to see the audience’s reaction to It’s Complicated. Talking about the clash with his good friend and young hero Vishwak Sen’s Laila, which is also releasing on the same day, Siddu said that Laila is a new movie while It’s Complicated is a re-release, there’s no question of a clash between both the movies.
