The Chennai Super Kings suffered the fifth consecutive loss in the IPL 2025. Fans are heartbroken with CSK’s humiliating defeat in the hands of KKR at Chidambaram Stadium on Friday night. CSK, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, was bowled out for a shockingly low total of just 103 runs.
And popular Kollywood actor Vishnu Vishal’s X post after CSK’s defeat is going viral. Vishnu Vishal wrote, “I refrained n refrained n refrained being a cricketer myself…I didn wanna come to conclusions too soon…But this is atrocious…” Targeting CSK captain Dhoni without mentioning Thala’s name, Vishnu wrote, “Why come so lower down the order ..Is any sport played not to win? Its just like visitn a circus now.” He concluded his post, saying, “No individual is bigger than the sport.”
Vishnu’s post went viral in no time, with several fans voicing the same opinion. Many CSK fans couldn’t digest the fact that Dhoni pushed his teammates to bat up the order while he chose to bat at seventh down.
