Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra was released in theaters on October 11, 2024. Directed by Vasan Bala, this action drama failed to resonate with majority of audiences and actress-producer Divya Khossla, wife of esteemed producer Bhushan Kumar.
Recently, she watched Jigra and shared a picture of the empty theater where she viewed the film. She called out Alia and her paid mafia. The reason behind her venting is clear – her film Savi shares a similar plot with Jigra. A few hours later, Jigra producer Karan Johar posted an Instagram story that says, “Silence is the best speech you will ever give to fools.”
This prompted Divya to respond with several posts: “Truth will always offend fools opposed to it.” “When you are shamelessly accustomed to stealing what rightfully belongs to others, you will always seek shelter in silence. You will have no voice, no spine.”
Alia Bhatt has chosen not to respond to Divya’s comments and has instead been sharing positive reviews for her movie Jigra. It remains to be seen how this situation will develop.
