Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, fondly known as the “Man of Masses,” was recently released in Japan. The actor, along with director Koratala Siva, actively promoted the film in the country.
Following the premiere, Jr NTR and Koratala Siva interacted with Japanese media, where the actor was asked about Devara 2. Speaking about the sequel, he said, “Devara: Part 1 is only half of a bigger story. I believe the next chapter will be incredible. This time, you learned a lot about Devara, but next time, it’s your turn to know about Vara (laughs) and what happened to Devara.”
The script is nearly complete, and the sequel is set to begin production in the first half of 2026. In the meantime, Jr NTR will fulfill his other commitments. Devara 2 will be a grand cinematic spectacle, jointly produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. Anirudh Ravichander will return as the film’s composer, and Janhvi Kapoor will reprise her role as Jr NTR’s love interest.
