When young actors attempt novel scripts by coming out of their comfort zone, audiences have always encouraged such films. The recent film to join this list is Kiran Abbavaram’s KA. The mystery thriller set against the rural backdrop emerged as a box office hit and gave the actor a huge sigh of relief. Even on the weekdays, the film is showing very good hold at the ticket windows.
A big update about KA’s digital release has been announced now. Vamsi Nandipati, who distributed this suspense thriller took to his social media and stated that KA would not arrive on OTT anytime soon. He further asked the audience not to believe any rumors about KA’s OTT release.
Telugu films will generally have a theatrical window of four weeks (PAN Indian films are an exception), but KA makers did the right thing by delaying the digital release. This move will only benefit the film as it encourages audiences to visit the theatres.
Due to the rapid OTT expansion, a section of the audience have stopped coming to theatres. The short theatrical window is also causing more harm to the exhibition sector. Hence, the decision made by the KA team deserves applause. Let’s hope more films will follow the suit.
#KA We are not coming to OTT any sooner, we want you all to experience our movie im thratres only. Please discard any fake news in this regards
