Pan-Indian star Prabhas and visionary director Nag Ashwin have collaborated for the first time on the project Kalki 2898AD, a fusion of mythology and futuristic worlds. Expectations for the movie are sky-high, with fans eagerly anticipating its release on June 27, 2024.
The film has already shattered a few records in North America, grossing over $2 million from presales alone. Now, it’s set another overseas milestone, with over 210 IMAX shows scheduled across North America, unprecedented for any Indian movie. Fans abroad are especially eager to experience the visual extravaganza on the big screen.
In addition to Prabhas, the movie boasts a star-studded cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Mrunal Thakur, Sobhana, Pasupathy, Anna Ben, Brahmanandam, Rajendra Prasad, and others in pivotal roles. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, this epic features Santhosh Narayanan as the composer and will be released in 3D and 4DX formats.
