Vyjayanthi Movies, the revered production house basking in the global success of their recent blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, is celebrating another milestone today. On this day, as they celebrate the 22nd anniversary of one of their mega projects, Indra, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, the makers have announced something that will delight Chiranjeevi’s fans.
As the trend of re-releasing classic hits continues, Mega fans had eagerly requested a re-release of the beloved Indra, two years ago. Vyjayanthi Movies responded with enthusiasm: “Dear Megastar Fans, Not only u.. we are also.. We will be releasing 4K Print of Indra, but not right now, it takes some time but the release will be in a BIG & GRAND Manner.”
The wait is finally over – the movie is set for a grand re-release on August 22, 2024, a date cherished by Chiranjeevi’s devoted fans as it marks their idol’s birthday. The 4K version will be celebrated with extensive festivities.
Directed by B. Gopal, Indra features Sonali Bendre and the late Aarthi Agarwal as the female leads. The action drama boasts a remarkable soundtrack by Mani Sharma and a riveting screenplay by the Paruchuri brothers.
