Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD is set to create new records in Tollywood. The mytho sci-fi entertainer directed by Nag Ashwin is all set for a grand release on June 27th. Tickets are getting sold out like hotcakes in North America, and the advances commenced in Karnataka earlier this morning.
Now, the advance bookings are live in Telangana, too. The makers waited for the ticket rate hikes and that is the reason advances started a bit late. The bookings have begun in some theatre chains, and we can expect the full-fledged bookings in a few overs. On the expected lines, fans are experiencing technical issues. Lately, this has become a norm for all the films featuring Prabhas, the biggest PAN star from Tollywood.
The bookings will commence in AP as soon as the new government issues the GO with ticket rate hikes. Will Kalki 2898 AD go past the opening day collections of Salaar? That remains to be seen. This high-budget film, also starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, will be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX formats.
