Tollywood’s epic Kalki 2898 AD has taken the box office by storm, grossing over 700 crores in 6 days globally. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles.
Nag Ashwin already announced at the end of the first part that the Kalki universe will continue, sparking excitement among fans eagerly awaiting the sequel. Recently, producer Ashwini Dutt reported that 60% of the second part of Kalki 2898 AD is already over.
In his latest statement, Ashwini Dutt revealed plans to begin filming the sequel at the end of this year, aiming for a release in May or June 2025. This update has thrilled fans of Prabhas and the wider audience who enjoyed the first installment.
The film also boasts performances from Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad, Shobha, and other notable actors. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie features an enchanting soundtrack by Santhosh Narayanan.
