This evening, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, along with Shankar, promoted Indian 2 at IPL 2024. The actor-director duo attended the “Cricket Live” session on the Star Sports channel ahead of the RCB Vs. CSK match. It is known that Indian 2’s release has been postponed from June. Kamal Haasan confirmed the same, and he revealed that this much-awaited sequel will arrive in theatres in July 2024.
Kamal Haasan further said that Indian 3 will hit the big screens six months later. The third installment will probably make its way to the theatres for Pongal 2025. Kamal revealed that he acted in Indian 2 because Shankar narrated him the script of Indian 3 as well, which left him heavily impressed.
The versatile actor has confirmed that the grand audio launch of Indian 2 will happen on June 1st. Director Shankar said that they made the third part since the story is big and cannot be told in three hours. Kajal Aggarwal is the female lead. Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar played vital roles. Anirudh composed the tunes.
