Kanguva is one of the most eagerly anticipated Kollywood films of the year, with Suriya’s fans and cinephiles alike holding high expectations. The movie is set to release in cinemas on November 14, 2024. Directed by Siruthai Siva, Kanguva has made headlines once again as producer KE Gnanavel Raja shared an exciting update during an X Space session last night.
He revealed that while Suriya has personally dubbed for the Tamil version, AI technology will be used for the dubbing in other languages, a first for Kollywood. This follows a recent trend, with Amitabh Bachchan’s voice in Vettaiyan having been enhanced by AI for quality improvement. It will be interesting to see how successful this innovative approach proves to be.
Gnanavel also confirmed that the movie will have a grand release in all major Indian languages, as well as in English, French, and Spanish. Meanwhile, the Chinese and Japanese versions will follow at a later date, and there are no plans for an IMAX release.
Disha Patani stars as the female lead, with Bobby Deol playing the antagonist. The film is produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Stay tuned for more updates.
