Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes franchise, was released globally on May 10. Made on a budget of about $160 million, the Wes Ball directorial grossed close to $400 million and ended up being a decent success at the box office. The film also enjoyed modest patronage from the Indian audience.

As per the latest updates, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is all set for its digital premiere on the popular OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on August 2. The film will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The entire Planet of the Apes franchise, including Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), and War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a sci-fi action-adventure drama set several generations in the future since Caesar’s reign, where apes are now the dominant species and humans live as the minority.
