Koratala Siva – Devara also has a social message

Devara, starring Jr. NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, is set for a massive start at the box office. Koratala Siva’s last outing, Acharya, was a big flop, and hence, all eyes are on him. There will be a social message in Koratala’s movies usually. Janatha Garage stressed the importance of nature, while Srimanthudu highlighted the concept of giving back to the society.

Through Bharat Ane Nenu, Koratala Siva addressed the need for political responsibility. In one of the recent interviews, the director was asked if Devara contained any social message. Koratala answered, “Devara’s idea itself is good. The protagonist says everyone should have fear along with courage. There can’t be a better social message than this.”

Koratala Siva continued, “Social message isn’t confined to talking about trees and nature. Depicting how a person should behave is also a social message. In Bharat Ane Nenu, I said that people should have accountability. Through Devara, I am emphasizing that everyone should have fear.”
