The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the shortlists for 10 categories for the upcoming 97th Oscars ceremony, and Laapata Ladies, competing in the Best International Feature Film category, did not make the cut. The film is now out of the race, leaving many fans disheartened.
Produced by Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan, and Jyoti Deshpande, this charming Bollywood film features fresh talent, with Nitanshi Goel, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Pratibha Ranta in lead roles, alongside seasoned actors Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam, and Abhay Dubey in supporting roles.
