Yesterday, a petition was filed in the Telangana High Court challenging the ticket rate hikes permitted by the Telangana government for the much-awaited movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. The petitioner complained that the ticket rate enhancements for the Allu Arjun starrer were exorbitant. As the release is around the corner, this legal issue grabbed the eyeballs.
The hearing took place today, and the High Court opined that it is incorrect to stop the release at the last moment. The next hearing is scheduled after two weeks. So legally, there are no issues for Pushpa 2: The Rule’s release in Telangana. The court’s judgment will be eagerly awaited as it will affect the upcoming biggies.
