Leo: Here is why North Indian box office numbers are at risk

After the massive success of Master, the dynamic duo of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj has come together for their latest venture, Leo, an action-packed gangster drama. This highly anticipated film is set to hit the silver screen on October 19, 2023, with Trisha Krishnan playing the female lead.

However, during a recent event at X Space, producer Lalith Kumar disclosed that the movie will not see a multiplex release, citing unspecified issues. Instead, it will exclusively premiere in 2000 single-screen theaters. This decision is expected to have a notable impact on the film’s collections in the North Indian region. Meanwhile, fervent North Indian fans are urging the filmmakers to reconsider and include multiplexes in the release plan.

Leo boasts a star-studded cast including Sunjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand, Santi Mayadevi, and others in pivotal roles. This high-octane drama is produced by Seven Screen Studios, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
