We have already reported that Leo makers lost ample opportunity in the Hindi belt by going ahead with a shorter OTT window. This means the film’s Hindi version won’t have shows in the national chains (PVR, Inox, Cinepolis). On top of that, the makers didn’t promote the film as well, apart from releasing the trailer and songs.
Now, here is a sweet surprise for all the Thalapathy Vijay fans. Leo’s Hindi version is registering decent to good advance bookings in the single screens. The movie will take a decent opening in the North market despite having a limited release.
On the other hand, Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath is having a low buzz, and if Leo can get good talk, it can make good bucks at the box office. Looks like Thalapathy Vijay will establish his footprint in the Hindi market slowly.
