Leo is not for the faint-hearted, says an overseas distributor

Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is achieving solid advance bookings in overseas markets. The movie is on track to beat the opening day record of Pathaan in the UK. The UK distributor shared some exciting things about the movie just a while ago.

According to the distributor, Leo has intense violence and gory scenes and is not a film for the faint-hearted. The distributor wants the film to be presented to the audience without any changes, and hence, they tried for a 15+ rating (Only for those who are aged 15 and above). Much to the surprise of the distributor, the film was given an 18+ rating, meaning it can be watched by only those who are aged 18 and above.

However, after negotiations with the British Board of Film Certification, the film was given a 15+ rating with minimal unnoticeable refining. In India, the movie has received a U/A rating, meaning children below the age of 12 need parental guidance for viewing. The action drama, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has Trisha as the female lead.
