Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is gearing up for a massive release on 19th October. The movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is one of the most hyped projects in Tamil cinema. While the overseas bookings are terrific, fans were concerned a bit about the openings in Tamil Nadu.
Recently, the Tamil Nadu government made a decision that theatres should not screen early morning shows in the state. This took a toll on the openings of recent films like Jailer. The makers of Leo requested to grant permission for two special shows on the first day and one special show from 20th October to 24th October.
The Tamil Nadu government responded positively and released a G.O. stating that makers can screen five shows per day from October 19 to October 24. This surely will be of great help for the movie in getting record-breaking numbers. With all the issues getting cleared, Leo is certain to take one of the biggest openings in Kollywood.
