Dulquer Salmaan’s last release, King of Kotha, was a massive disappointment at the box office. The film came amidst humongous expectations, but the content was below the mark, and hence, it didn’t make much noise at the ticket windows. Dulquer will be next seen in Lucky Baskhar. The film, originally shot in Telugu, will also be released in other languages. Venky Atluri is the director. The makers recently announced the film’s release date as September 27.
However, that date is now occupied by Jr. NTR and Koratala Siva’s Devara. Now that Devara is coming on September 27, the makers of Lucky Baskhar are rethinking about the release plans. The word is that the makers are considering the Independence Day slot. Several Bollywood films have been scheduled for release on August 15, so Pushpa 2 will likely be postponed. There are about five days of shoot left for Lucky Baskhar, and if everything goes well, the film will arrive on August 15.
The first single will come out on June 17, and we need to see if the makers will give the new release date in the lyrical video. Meenakshi Chaudhary is the female lead. The teaser, which was launched a few days ago, raked in a good response. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling this flick. G.V. Prakash Kumar is composing the tunes.
