The much-awaited youthful entertainer, Mad Square, was released on March 28 amid high expectations. The film, a sequel to the super hit comedy entertainer, Mad, had a sensational outing on its opening day and amassed over Rs 20.60 crore gross at the box office worldwide. The film has had a superb day 2, where it is expected to collect more than the day 1 numbers.
In North America, Mad Square is inching towards the $1 million already. The film, which beat Mad’s lifetime North America gross ($630,721) on its opening day with a total gross of $684,973, is performing exceptionally well on its second day. As per the latest updates, Mad Square collected a cool $70,102 from 192 locations until 7 AM in North America and eyes a $200K finish by the end of the day. With over $750K gross already, the film will surely break into the $1M club by Sunday.
Mad Square features Sangeeth Shobhan, Narne Nithin, Ram Nitin, Priyanka Jawalkar, Vishnu Oi, and others in prominent roles. The Kalyan Shankar directorial is produced jointly by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. Bheems Ceciroleo is the film’s music composer.
