Mad Square needs to collect this much to be in the safe zone

One of the most awaited sequels of Telugu cinema, Mad Square, is slated to hit the big screens on March 28. The film, directed by Kalyan Shankar, features Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin in lead roles. The first installment was a smash hit at the ticket windows, and hence, there is solid hype around the sequel.

According to trade reports, Mad Square must collect a distributor share of Rs. 23 crores worldwide to be called a hit. The breakeven target in Telugu states is Rs. 16 crores. Buyers are betting big on this youthful comedy entertainer, and on the expected lines, the overseas advance bookings are off to a phenomenal start.

The promotional material released to date is impressive, and very soon, the theatrical trailer will be launched. Priyanka Jawalkar plays a key role. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are jointly producing the project under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music composer.
