Mollywood Megastar Mammootty had a great start to this year. His horror thriller Bramayugam was lauded both by critics and audiences. The movie collected over 60 crores gross at the world wide box office. Mammootty played a special role in Abraham Ozler which also became a super hit. The actor’s next release is Turbo.
Two weeks ago, the makers announced that the film would be released on June 13. The latest update is that there has been a change in release plans. Turbo will now hit the big screens worldwide on May 23. The reason behind the preponement is not mentioned, though.
Kannada actor Raj B Shetty is playing the antagonist. Mammootty’s home banner, Mammootty Kampany, is bankrolling the movie, while Vysakh is the director. Midhul Manuel Thomas is the writer, and Justin Varghese is providing the tunes.
