Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty’s family entertainer, Manamey, released in cinemas worldwide on Friday. Despite the mixed reviews, the film registered decent collections on its day 1, with an estimated distributor share of Rs 1.45 crore in the Andhra, Nizam, and Ceded regions.
However, Manamey witnessed a good jump on its day 2. As per the trends on the leading ticketing app BookMyShow, Manamey witnessed a cool 33 percent jump on Saturday, with nearly 68K tickets sold. It’s worth noting that the film had sold about 55K tickets on Friday. Family audiences are patronizing the movie with a good word of mouth.
With the Sunday advance bookings showing promising trends, the makers and distributors have added more shows across the twin Telugu states. The Sriram Aditya directorial has been produced by TG Vishwaprasad under his People Media Factory banner.
