Actor-filmmaker Manchu Vishnu will next be seen in the ambitious mythological magnum opus, Kannappa. The film also stars Prabhas, Mollywood stalwart Mohanlal, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, and others in special roles.
On Saturday, Manchu Vishnu visited Kannappa’s birthplace, Utukur village, in Rajampeta mandal of Annamayya district and visited Kannappa’s own house. Later, he offered special prayers at the Utukur Shiva temple. Vishnu promised the temple authorities and villagers to renovate the Shiva temple.
Kannappa is scheduled for release on April 25. The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Preity Mukhundhan plays Vishnu’s love interest in the movie. The pan-India film will have a grand release in multiple Indian languages. Stephen Devassy has composed the music.
