Manjummel Boys scripted history by becoming the first Malayalam film to cross 200 crores gross at the box office. The movie, directed by Chidambaram, is based on a real-life incident. Manjummel Boys is slated for release in Telugu this Saturday, and it is being presented by Mythri Movie Makers.
During the film’s pre-release event, Mythri Shashidhar Reddy revealed they are releasing the movie in 300 screens in Telugu states. He added that they are not treating Manjummel Boys as a dubbed film. This is a gigantic release despite Family Star arriving on Friday and Tillu Square having a solid run, on the other hands.
Shashidhar Reddy stated that he and the other Mythri producers, Naveen and Ravi Shankar, watched the Malayalam version at the time of its release, and since then, they decided to present it to the Telugu audience. Also, it was informed this is the first time a Malayalam film is having paid premiers in Telugu states.
Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Basi, Balu Varghese, Ganapati S Poduval, Jean Paul Lal, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Arjun Kurian played vital roles. Babu Shahir, Soubin Shahir, and Shawn Antony produced the movie under the Parava Films banner.
