Marco was promoted as the most violent Malayalam film ever, and the film’s content lived up to all the pre-release hype with disturbing visuals and tons of violence. The film, headlined by Unni Mukundhan, emerged as a massive blockbuster at the ticket windows, collecting over Rs. 115 crores gross. Marco is the first A-rated Malayalam film to cross the Rs. 100 crores benchmark.
Earlier it was announced that Marco would be available for streaming from February 14. But here is a sweet surprise for movie buffs. Marco already made its digital debut on Sony LIV in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages along with English subtitles. All those who missed this flick in theatres can now catch it on Sony LIV.
Directed by Haneef Adeni and produced by Shareef Muhammed, Marco also features Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Tareja in key roles. Ravi Basrur composed the music. A sequel to Marco is confirmed and is now in the scripting stage.
