Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Tillu Square has set the cash registers jingling right from the morning show all across the globe. Tillu’s character has become a household name, and hence, there was very good hype for this sequel right from the beginning. The catchy songs are an add-on. All these factors helped Tillu Square to rake in mind-blowing numbers.
On the first day, this madcap entertainer amassed a phenomenal 23.7 crores gross at the global box office. The film recorded stunning occupancies in all circuits, and due to high demand, the makers added extra shows in many places throughout the day. Producer Naga Vamsi estimated that the movie would open in the vicinity of 25 crores gross, and his prediction is so close to the official numbers reported.
Anupama Parameswaran played the leading lady, while Muralidhar Goud essayed Siddhu’s father’s role. Murali Sharma, Prince Cecil, and others played supporting roles. With this kind of positive response, the sky is the limit for the box office rage of Tillu.
