Pan-India star Prabhas is on a roll with back-to-back massive projects, and one of the most anticipated among them is Fauji (working title), a war-period drama helmed by Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavapudi. The film marks the debut of Imanvi Ismail as the female lead, and it’s already turning heads for its scale and casting choices.

In a recent interaction, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who plays a significant role in the film, opened up about his experience so far. Interestingly, Mithun revealed that he hasn’t yet shot any scenes with Prabhas but has completed portions alongside iconic actress Jayapradha.

He also shared an unexpected behind-the-scenes moment—he fractured his hand just before the movie’s photoshoot. However, the team, particularly Prabhas, insisted he rest and recover fully before resuming work. “Health comes first,” Mithun quoted the star as saying.

The veteran confirmed that he’ll be rejoining the shoot soon and that his scenes with Prabhas will be filmed shortly. What’s even more striking is the budget—Mithun revealed that Fauji is being made on a staggering budget of over Rs. 700 crore, making it one of the costliest ventures in Prabhas’ career to date.

Also part of the ensemble is Bollywood stalwart Anupam Kher, while music duties are being handled by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The film is being mounted on a massive scale by Mythri Movie Makers, promising a cinematic spectacle in the making. Stay tuned for more enthralling updates on this visual spectacle.
