Mrunal Thakur replaces Shruti Haasan in Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit

Tollywood actor Adivi Sesh is celebrating his birthday today and is gearing up to captivate audiences with a lineup of exciting films. One of the most anticipated projects is Dacoit, a gripping love story directed by newcomer Shaniel Deo. In an exciting update, the makers recently teased the reveal of the heroine’s look, and as many had speculated, the talented Mrunal Thakur has replaced Shruti Haasan in the lead role.

The makers dropped two posters featuring Mrunal. In one poster, Sesh is seen with a serious expression, gazing into the distance, while Mrunal looks at him with a sense of sadness. The second poster presents a contrasting yet equally intense image, with Sesh sitting stylishly in a car, lighting a cigarette, while Mrunal is seen driving the car, giving a stern gaze with a gun in her hand. Both posters highlight the complexity of their troubled relationship, emphasizing the intensity of their roles.

The film unfolds as a tale of two former lovers who are forced to reunite for a series of daring robberies, which ultimately alter the course of their lives.

This ambitious project is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. The film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, with a story and screenplay jointly crafted by Adivi Sesh and Shaniel Deo. The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad, followed by an extensive schedule in Maharashtra.
